What is Commercial Gas Safety (CP42)?
Landlords and operators of commercial premises with gas appliances — offices, restaurants, retail units — renewed annually.

Commercial Gas (CP42) in Croydon — local property context
Croydon is one of London's most active rental markets, with a large stock of Victorian terraces, 1930s semis, and post-war estates. The borough has significant HMO activity, particularly in the South Norwood, Thornton Heath, and Addiscombe areas. Many Victorian properties have original or partially-updated electrical installations that benefit from EICR inspection.
One of the most active buy-to-let markets in South London, with strong yields and high tenant demand driven by Thameslink, Overground, and Tramlink connections. Our accredited engineers regularly carry out commercial gas safety (cp42) work across Croydon for private landlords, letting agents and HMO operators, and are familiar with the CR0, CR2, CR7, SE25 postcode areas.
Croydon is outside the London Congestion Charge Zone, so no congestion surcharge applies here. We also regularly book Commercial Gas (CP42) appointments in neighbouring boroughs such as Bromley, Sutton, Lambeth, so if your portfolio spans more than one area we can usually coordinate visits on the same day.
